Q. Email blocked

Student email blocked, cannot send or receive.


It sounds like your account has been compromised, which Microsoft has detected and automatically blocked.  There are steps you need to take to secure it and to enable us to unblock it again:

1. Please change your password immediately at go.lsbu.ac.uk/password

2. If you have any personal email accounts, we advise you to change these passwords too.

3. If you have accessed you LSBU email account via a mobile device or tablet, please delete the mail App. Restart the device and reinstall it. On an Android device, please run an anti-virus scan. Ensure all devices have the latest operating system updates installed.

4. If you have accessed your LSBU email via a laptop or desktop computer, please delete your browsing history and run a full anti-virus scan. Please ensure you have installed all the latest Operating System updates.

When you have followed these steps, please let us know and we can arrange for your email account to be unblocked.
