Q. What do I do if I've damaged a book I've borrowed?

Please let Library staff know so we can take a look

We know books do suffer from wear and tear when you're using them and this is fine.

However if a book is so badly damaged that we can't use it again or if it's been defaced with grafitti/highlighter then we may ask you to pay a replacement charge for it. You would then be able to keep the copy of the book if you want to do so
