Q. My LSBU Email has been blocked. What should I do?
It sounds like your account has been compromised, Microsoft has detected unusual activity and has automatically blocked your account.
There are steps you need to take to secure it and to enable us to unblock it again:
1. If you have accessed you LSBU email account via a mobile device or tablet, please delete the mail App. Restart the device and reinstall it. On an Android device, please run an anti-virus scan. Ensure all devices have the latest operating system updates installed.
2. If you have accessed your LSBU email via a laptop or desktop computer, please delete your browsing history and run a full anti-virus scan. Please ensure you have installed all the latest Operating System updates.
3. If you have any personal email accounts, we advise you to change these passwords too.
4. Once you have confirmed you have taken these steps you will be informed of when you should change your password by visiting go.lsbu.ac.uk/password to gain access to your account.
