Q. How to check for inbox and forwarding rules
If you think that your email account may have been compromised, you should immediately reset your password, you should check your email for any inbox rules.
Email forwarding rules can be used by hackers to forward emails received in your inbox directly to them or elsewhere.
Inbox rules could be applied to send all emails to trash without them appearing in your inbox.
You may not be able to retrieve emails that have been affected by these actions.
Visit Microsoft Support for instructions on how to check for and delete inbox rules when using Outlook on the web (Office 365).
