Q. How do I self enrol on a module in Moodle?

Answer

Within your course you may need to self enrol onto some of your modules in Moodle. This may be because it is an optional module directly relating to your course or because it is missing from your Moodle site.

There are also optional modules you can self enrol onto that provide helpful information to support your studies such as Mental Health and Wellbeing, Skills for Learning Online and LLR Library and IT Support and LLR Digital Skills

How to Enrol Yourself on a Moodle module

You can self enrol yourself by following steps below:

1. Login to Moodle

2. Click on the link to the Site catalogue

3. Enter the module or course code provided by their module leader/course director

4. Scroll down until they find the 20/21, version of the module/course site.

5. Click on the link (site name) to open the site.

More detailed information can be found in the attached guide:

If your modules do not appear, you will need to be added to Moodle module.

Your course administrator needs to do this for you. If you are unsure of your administrator's contact details, please let us know their names and we should be able to find them for you.
